The Centrality of the Body to Learning and Teaching, NTU, July 8th, 2016

Posted in Events

On July 8th, 2016, our East Midlands Writing PAD colleague Lisa Clughen is running an event at Nottingham Trent university and funded by the HEA to explore the centrality of the body to learning and teaching. Booking is now open via the HEA website at the following link, where you will also find further details: https://www.heacademy.ac.uk/event/body-learning-and-teaching. You will need a My Academy account to book, but this is easy to create. The event is free for Fellows of the HEA, but places are limited.

You will notice on the website that Lisa has included one of her articles, ‘Embodied Writing Support’, that Lisa will be using to kickstart discussion about the theme, so please read it before you come.

Pre-Event Task
The above link also gives details of  a pre-event task – please send the image to Lisa by June 18th, 2016.

The programme for this event looks very diverse and stimulating: Writing PAD will be there to report back, and to present a poster.

Also, don’t forget our own Creative Connections PGR event at DMU on the 5th July at DMU – see previous post!
